Nomination Terms and Conditions

By submitting a nomination for the Rinse Clean Community Clean initiative, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Eligibility

• Nominations are open to individuals, households, or community spaces located within the United Kingdom.

• The person submitting the nomination must provide accurate and truthful information about the individual or property being nominated.

• By submitting photos, location details, or personal information, the nominator confirms they have permission from the relevant person or property owner to share this information.

2. Nomination Submission

• Nominations must be submitted using the official online form or another method specified by Rinse Clean.

• Submissions should clearly explain why the individual, household, or community space has been nominated and why the assistance would be beneficial.

• Where possible, nominations must include clear photographs of the exterior area requiring cleaning.

• The full property location or address must be provided for review.

• Eligible projects may include outdoor areas such as driveways, patios, pathways, building exteriors, gardens, community centres, and other exterior spaces requiring cleaning or restoration.

3. Accuracy of Information

• Nominators must ensure that all information submitted is accurate and truthful to the best of their knowledge.

• Rinse Clean reserves the right to reject nominations that contain misleading, false, or incomplete information.

• If a nomination is found to be submitted without the property owner’s knowledge or consent, Rinse Clean may cancel the nomination.

4. Selection Process

• Recipients of the free cleaning service will be selected at the sole discretion of Rinse Clean.

• Selection may be based on factors including:

  • The level of need

  • The potential positive impact of the service

  • The suitability and safety of the project

  • The location and accessibility of the property

• Rinse Clean’s decision is final.

• Due to the number of nominations received, feedback on unsuccessful nominations may not be provided.

5. Service Scope

• The type, size, and extent of cleaning work provided will be determined entirely by Rinse Clean.

• Rinse Clean reserves the right to decline, postpone, or modify a project if it is considered unsafe, impractical, or outside the scope of the initiative.

• The free cleaning service is provided as a one-time goodwill gesture and does not create any obligation for ongoing services.

6. Property Access

• If selected, the property owner or recipient must provide safe and reasonable access to the areas requiring cleaning.

• Rinse Clean reserves the right to cancel or stop work if safe access cannot be provided on the day of service.

7. Health and Safety

• Rinse Clean will not carry out work that poses a risk to staff, property, or members of the public.

• Projects involving dangerous structures, unstable surfaces, hazardous materials, or other safety risks may be declined or altered.

8. Filming, Photography and Media Use

• As part of this initiative, Rinse Clean may film or photograph the property before, during, and after the cleaning process.

• By accepting the service, the recipient agrees that this content may be used by Rinse Clean for promotional purposes including:

  • Social media platforms

  • YouTube or video platforms

  • Marketing and advertising materials

  • Website content

• Participation in interviews or speaking on camera is voluntary.

9. Neighbours and Third Parties

• Filming will focus primarily on the nominated property and the cleaning work being carried out.

• While reasonable care will be taken, neighbouring properties or public areas may occasionally appear in footage.

• Rinse Clean cannot guarantee that third parties or surrounding properties will not appear incidentally in filmed content.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

• Rinse Clean is committed to protecting your privacy.

• Personal information submitted during the nomination process will only be used for reviewing and managing nominations for this initiative.

• Information will not be shared with third parties without consent unless required by law.

• Data will be stored securely and retained only for a reasonable period following the completion of the project.

11. Liability

• Rinse Clean will take reasonable care while carrying out cleaning services.

• However, the company cannot be held responsible for pre-existing property damage, structural issues, or defects that become visible during or after cleaning.

• Rinse Clean shall not be liable for injury, damage, or loss unless caused by proven negligence.

12. Changes to the Terms

• Rinse Clean reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time.

• Any updates will be published on the Rinse Clean website.

13. Governing Law

• These terms and conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
